After weeks of teasing QuakeCon bigwigs have finally let the cat out the bag with regards to what community competitions with be coming to the BYOC at QuakeCon 2017. Get ready and start warming up as you will be able to test your skills in Quake II, Quake World, RAGE and Quake Live.

Quake II 20th Anniversary Duel tournament

Originally released in 1997, QuakeCon 2017 is celebrating 20 years of QUAKE II with a single-elimination duel tournament for up to 128 players in the BYOC!  Whether you’re a general attendee or BYOC participant, you can walk up and play in this tournament with $10,000 in total prize money.

QuakeWorld Duel tournament

The original QUAKE has been an inspiration for competitive gaming for over 21 years. We celebrate that with a single-elimination duel tournament for up to 128 players in the BYOC!  Up to 128 participants will compete in this tournament with $5,000 in total prize money.

RAGE: Road Rage tournament

Buckle up because you and three friends are going for a ride in our crazy BYOC free-for-all arena competition. Up to 64 participants will be invited to compete with $5,000 in total prize money.

Quake Live 4v4 CTF tournament

Capture the Flag… capture the cash. This year’s Quake Live 4v4 CTF tourney will feature 32 teams and $10,000 in prize money!

Also new to this year’s BYOC is our General Attendee walk up and play program which is a set of gaming workstations that will be set up providing the General Attendees with an opportunity to get involved in the community competitions, on a first come first serve basis.
