Attention DOOM players: get ready for hellish competition this year at QuakeCon 2017.

QuakeCon organisers have just announced the Battle of the BYOC — where they’re looking to find the best DOOM multiplayer players for a competition that will test your skills in 2 v 2 action where players from four regions of the BYOC will compete against each other.

This March Madness-esque tournament bracket will begin with 64 teams and culminate with a Final Four pitting the best teams from each BYOC regions against each other for pride and prize money. BYOC will be encouraged to support their “region champion”, as all attendees from the winning region will be entered into a special prize giveaway (more details on that are coming).
